This is a 10-hour self-access module that helps MSc students develop a comprehensive understanding of research fundamentals and navigate the process of completing their dissertation. This module supplements but does not replace the research methods module.

In Conversations with Educational Practitioners
These interviews with educational professionals who are lecturers and students at IELLI correspond to the topics in some of the MSc modules offered by IELLI. The aim of having these interviews is to help MSc students connect the theoretical and conceptual knowledge they learn in the modules with real-world applications.
CILTER Conference Funding
Centre for International, Language and Teacher Education Research offers funding opportunities for postgraduate taught and research students at the International Education and Lifelong Learning Institute. Interested students need to complete an online application form. All applications will be evaluated by the CILTER Director. This is a one-off funding opportunity for this academic year (2025-26), based on current CILTER finances. Each student can only apply once.
